Inspired by miles of vineyards kissed by fog, our label suggests the gentle meeting of earth and sky. The rich burst of red on the label and capsule suggest the deepening color of the grapes on the vine as they wait for perfect ripeness under a blanket of fog.

Our Nouveau Muse (Fr: New Muse) wines are truly inspired. These lightly romantic wines are filled with panache much like the Art Nouveau style of their label. Nouveau Muse wines are handcrafted in an artful style that draws out the essential organic elements of the vines and the fertile earth in which they were grown. Our Nouveau Muse wines consist of wines that are light, fruity and as playful as a summersault in the vineyard. They will inspire your own personal muse and fire your imagination.

The fanciful label is designed in the Art Nouveau style – an art movement characterized by organic motifs especially floral and plant-inspired shapes, as well as highly stylized, flowing curvilinear forms.

Our Pied Violet (Fr: Purple Foot) pays tribute to the foot treading of grapes – a long-ago, labor-intensive crushing process that has been around almost as long as wine itself. Pied Violet is in a class by itself and commemorates a back-to-basics, handcrafted approach to winemaking. We dedicate it to those early lovers of wine who tread the grapes with such passion and purpose and who charted a course through viticultural history to bring us such sheer pleasure.

“The Grapecrusher” featured on our label, is an illustration of a fine art sculpture created by Gino Miles which stands on Highway 29, the gateway to California’s Napa Valley Wine Country and the home of WineShop At Home.
