There are many important regions – or appellations – in the world of great winemaking. Each region reflects a distinct winemaking tradition – from the well-known winemaking regions of France and the border it shares with Germany, to the mountains of Italy or the far reaches of the “New World” of the Americas. Our regional-styled wines replicate distinct traditions of winemaking. We honor these traditions, while adding our own special touches of modern craftsmanship to each wine.

FRISCH
Our Frisch (Gr: Fresh) wines are fresh, fruity and infinitely memorable. Handcrafted with both German-style know-how and French flair, Frisch is the embodiment of Alsatian-style wines — reflective of two cultures blended
together in perfect harmony.
The repeated changes of the nationality of Alsace from France to Germany several times throughout its history have had a great impact on its wines. In recent decades, the difference between these wines has become more distinct – German wines have become drier, while Alsace wines have become sweeter.

MILANO CELLARS
In the mountain towns of Italy, friends and family gather around tables to enjoy life’s simple pleasures: nourishing food for the body, and straightforward yet subtle wines for the soul. Our Milano Cellars wines are created as a tribute to the heritage and tradition of the classic and timeless Italian lifestyle.
In Italy, grapevines grow everywhere; they are, perhaps, Italy’s version of the American lawn. Italy has over 900,000 vineyards and more than a thousand documented grape varietals or types.

TILDEN PEAK CELLARS
The Rhône River Valley in Southern France is home to several of the great grape varieties known to the world – Rhone varietals. Here you’ll find grapes such as Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and Roussanne. The land has a warm and dry climate with rocky soils. These same grapes adapt well to a wide range of soils and climates and thrive in various California winegrowing regions. For instance, Syrah does equally well in the cool climate and rich soil of Sonoma County as well as the hot, dry climate of Paso Robles.
The Tilden family is prominent in California’s history. Charles Lee Tilden was the first president of the East Bay Regional Parks District Board of Directors and the park’s “jewel” was named after him, this label’s artwork reflects this landmark.

VILLA ENCANTADO
Our Villa Encantado wines are crafted in the “New World Style” – from old world varietals – or types of grapes – with a modern craftsman’s touch. These special wines are fruit forward and user-friendly, drinkable in their youth and full of South American flair. Enjoy our Villa Encantado and pay homage to the roots of an ancient culture, crafted to perfection for the modern age.
The ancient South American natives, the Incas, were known for their excellent metal work with silver, copper, gold and bronze. The sun, in their nature-based religion, was regarded as the most important aspect of life because it provided warmth and light. Our Villa Encantado wines honor that culture with a gold foil
sun adorning the label.
