About Us
WineShop At Home is the premier direct seller of handcrafted, artisan wines. The company is a bonded California winery headquartered in the famed Napa Valley and is the only direct seller to offer exclusive wine brands available nowhere else. Our Independent Wine Consultants throughout the country, present in-home Wine Tastings, where guests can taste our wines and learn about, experience and buy wines directly from the Winery. WineShop At Home epitomizes a whole new generation of direct selling -- offering an exceptional consumer experience, an unparalleled and exciting business opportunity for both women and men, and unequalled quality, service, and style.

At WineShop At Home our vision is to provide the best wine lifestyle experience in the world. We envision a world where the enjoyment, education and purchasing of wine is a pursuit and pleasure available to everyone. We aspire to be recognized as offering the most innovative consumer wine tasting and buying experience and a wine career opportunity second to none. In addition, we foster the education, enjoyment and healthy consumption of wine and food.

Our Executive Team

Stan Fredrick II - Chairman of the Board
Stan FredrickStan Fredrick II has spent over 30 years in the direct selling industry. He opened, then served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Colesce Couture, Inc., Canada, where he was an active member of the Canadian Direct Sellers Association. Upon his return to the U. S. he served as Senior Vice President and President of international for Colesce Couture, Inc. Fredrick also founded Custom Fit Bra Company, Ltd., and has been a presenter for the DSA in both Canada and the United States. Stan and his wife, Hollie, have four children, Kayli, Natalie, Tristan and Peyton and four grandchildren.







Jane Edwards Creed - President and Chief Executive Officer
Jane CreedJane Creed’s direct selling and food & wine experience spans over 20 years. She spent 9 years as a senior vice president with The Pampered Chef ltd., and was part of the executive team that helped that company grow from $220 million to almost a billion and be acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. Jane’s wine and food expertise is extensive and includes writing and/or editing over 20 cookbooks, hosting international press events for California wine growing regions, as well as individual wineries and winemakers, writing a monthly food and wine column for a print magazine and product and brand development for numerous wineries, including a French wine company entering the American market. She has written features for Direct Selling News, Europe and the U.S., and serves the Direct Selling Education Foundation as Communications Chair. She is a member of the DSA/DSEF and The French American Chamber of Commerce. Jane and her husband, Dudley, have five children and two dogs, Jax and Jinx.


Daniel Murphy - Financial Counsel
Daniel MurphyDan Murphy has over 30 years of experience in high growth organizations holding senior finance and operating roles at TJX, PepsiCo, Panera Bread, Princess House and Immunotec. For the last 11 years Dan has served as both a CFO and COO for a party plan and network marketing company respectively. Dan's primary area of focus at WineShop At Home is financial management and strategic planning.

Dan also serves as the Treasurer of the Direct Selling Association and the Direct Selling Educational Foundation.





Steve Burch - Director, Enology & Wine Operations
Steve BurchSteve Burch was born and raised in Ohio and moved to California in 1994 to study winemaking at the world-renowned Department of Viticulture and Enology at the University of California at Davis. Steve was among the graduates of the very first class to be awarded degrees in Viticulture and Enology. While a student, Steve learned all he could about the business of wine, working at vineyards, wineries and wine retail stores. After graduation in 1998, Steve served as acting Research Winemaker at Mondavi/Woodbridge, making wine in small lots from research blocks to find ways to increase wine quality. Steve was then recruited to a position at Flora Springs Winery in the Napa Valley as Assistant Winemaker. Steve also operated his own winery – overseeing all aspects of winemaking and the day-to-day operations of a busy winery. At WineShop At Home since 2007, Steve currently oversees the company’s handcrafted artisan winemaking as well as wine operations. 



Mark Densmore - Vice President, Information Technology
Mark DernsmoreMark Densmore, who grew up in the wine growing region of the Livermore Valley, has been with WineShop At Home for over 10 years and manages every aspect of the information technology infrastructure of the company, including CRM, inventory management, telephony, and web applications. In addition to extensive experience within the technology industry, Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from San Francisco State University and is credentialed as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Mark has been an information technology instructor, teaching certificate programs in computer networking, maintenance and repair for Techskills.com. Earlier, at First Consumers Mortgage Company, Mark managed all aspects of information technology, including enterprise network administration, technical support and call center administration. Mark Densmore and his wife Jill have a lovely daughter. 


Joe LoBue - Vice President, Field Development
Joe LobueJoe LoBue has over 20 years experience as a sales executive. He joined the company in 2004, overseeing the Company’s Customer Care Center. Joe personally presented many in-home Wine Tastings in order to fully understand the wine tasting experience and pass on his knowledge to nurture new independent Wine Consultants as they build their businesses. Joe was promoted to his current role of Vice President of Field Development in 2011, providing the Company’s sales field with leadership, training, incentive programs and ongoing sales support. Joe travels the country to promote WineShop At Home’s career opportunity and to promote growth for the Independent Wine Consultant’s individual businesses and teams. Joe has a B.A., Liberal Studies degree emphasizing psychology and business from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. Joe and his wife, Donna, have three children. Joe also is a noted drummer who plays throughout the Bay Area. 


Marlene Cain - Vice President of Sales
Susan HoveyMarlene Cain has spent her entire career of 29 years helping others to achieve both their personal and financial goals through direct selling. Marlene first joined WineShop At Home as an Independent Wine Consultant, building a significant team in Indiana. She moved to the corporate side of the business as Vice President Sales in April 2011. Earlier, Marlene built and maintained the #1 team, with a $3 million downline for Colesce Couture, becoming a Regional Vice-President for that Company. As a stay-at-home mom and farm wife, Marlene believes that direct selling gave her the opportunity to keep her family as her #1 priority while making a great income. Her mission is to help others achieve both financial and personal growth and the opportunity to work from home. Marlene helps our Wine Consultants throughout the country to build and grow strong teams. Marlene Cain is a native southern Californian and has been married for 42 years to Indiana farmer, Kenny Cain. She and Kenny have three sons, Sam, John & Josh, three grandchildren and a dog named "Sookie.”


Susan Hovey - Manager, Marketing & Communications
Susan HoveySusan Hovey has been working in the field of marketing for over seven years and at WineShop At Home for over five years. She previously worked as a Marketing & Sales Support Administrator in the technology industry. In 2005, Susan happily moved from the technology sector to the fabulous, lifestyle-driven wine industry. At WineShop At Home she manages the company’s wine and consumer marketing materials and creative services; helping to create and produce product collateral, visuals and sales field communications. Susan has been active throughout her life in community and regional theatre in the Bay Area.





Mike Rahill - Manager, Distribution & Operations
Mike RahillMike Rahill joined WineShop At Home in 2010 after spending 28 years in all areas of warehouse management for direct seller, Discovery Toys. At WineShop At Home Mike manages the company’s distribution center overseeing such areas as logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory management and materials purchasing. Mike enjoys camping, wakeboarding and, most important to him, spending time with his son and daughter.
