Stan Fredrick II
Chairman of the Board
Stan Fredrick II has spent over 30 years in the direct selling industry. He opened, then served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Colesce Couture, Inc., Canada, where he was an active member of the Canadian Direct Sellers Association. Upon his return to the U. S. he served as Senior Vice President and President of international for Colesce Couture, Inc. Fredrick also founded Custom Fit Bra Company, Ltd., and has been a presenter for the DSA in both Canada and the United States. Stan and his wife, Hollie, have four children, Kayli, Natalie, Tristan and Peyton and four grandchildren.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Jane Creed’s direct selling and food & wine experience spans over 20 years. She spent 9 years as a Senior Vice President with The Pampered Chef ltd., and was part of the executive team that helped that company grow from $220 million to almost a billion and be acquired by Berkshire Hathaway. Jane’s wine and food expertise is extensive and includes writing and/or editing over 20 cookbooks, hosting international press events for California winegrowing regions, as well as individual wineries and winemakers. Jane has written a monthly food and wine column for California’s oldest food and agricultural magazine and executed product and brand development strategies for numerous wineries, including a French wine company entering the American market. She has written features for Direct Selling News, Europe and the U.S., and serves the Direct Selling Education Foundation on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the DSA/DSEF and The French American Chamber of Commerce. Jane and her husband, Dudley, have five children and two dogs.
Vice President of Winemaking
A native of Bordeaux, France, Alex has over 18 years of winemaking experience, working both in France and the United States. He began his studies at the Agricultural School of Libourne and Blanquefort, where he received degrees in Enology and Viticulture, as well as Wine Trade and Spirits. Alex’s wine career started in France working for internationally acclaimed wineries – Petrus, La Fleur Petrus, and Chateau La Tour Carnet. He also worked at the Chamber of Agriculture in Blanquefort, where he focused on biodynamic research in viticulture. Alex first came to Napa Valley in 1997, where he worked at such venerable estates as Beringer, Newton Vineyards, Flora Springs Winery, Twomey/Silver Oak Cellars, Cardinale, Matanzas Creek Winery and Anakota. He lives right here in the Napa Valley with his wife and two young daughters, Madeline and Olivia.
Dan Murphy has over 30 years of experience in high growth organizations holding senior finance and operating roles at TJX, PepsiCo, Panera Bread, Princess House and Immunotec. For the last 11 years Dan has served as both a CFO and COO for a party plan and network marketing company respectively. Dan’s primary area of focus at WineShop At Home is financial oversight and strategic planning.
Vice President, Operations
Mark Densmore, who grew up in the wine growing region of the Livermore Valley, has been with WineShop At Home for over 10 years and manages the information technology infrastructure of the company, the Customer Service Department and the Distribution Center. In addition to extensive experience within the technology industry, Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from San Francisco State University and is credentialed as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Mark has been an information technology instructor, teaching certificate programs in computer networking, maintenance and repair for Techskills.com. Earlier, at First Consumers Mortgage Company, Mark managed all aspects of information technology, including enterprise network administration, technical support and call center administration. Mark Densmore and his wife Jill have a lovely daughter and son.
Vice President of Sales
Marlene Cain has spent her entire career of 29 years helping others to achieve both their personal and financial goals through direct selling. Marlene first joined WineShop At Home as an Independent Wine Consultant, building a significant team in Indiana. She moved to the corporate side of the business as Vice President Sales in April 2011. Earlier, Marlene built and maintained the #1 team, with a $3 million downline for Colesce Couture, becoming a Regional Vice-President for that Company. As a stay-at-home mom and farm wife, Marlene believes that direct selling gave her the opportunity to keep her family as her #1 priority while making a great income. Her mission is to help others achieve both financial and personal growth and the opportunity to work from home. Marlene helps our Wine Consultants throughout the country to build and grow strong teams. Marlene Cain is a native southern Californian and has been married for 42 years to Indiana farmer, Kenny Cain. She and Kenny have three sons, Sam, John & Josh, three grandchildren and a dog named “Sookie.”
Regional Vice President of Sales, Western Region
Chat has over 28 years of experience in the direct selling industry, in a variety of sales executive, marketing and general management positions. His work experience spans the industry spectrum from party plan to network marketing, working for companies ranging from start-ups to industry leaders with hundreds of millions in sales. His greatest thrill is working with individual field salespeople, coaching, mentoring and driving them to excel, helping them build their businesses and realize their dreams. As one of his top sales leaders once said of him, “Chat is a true friend of the field, and he never forgets that our Consultants are the stars of the show!” Chat was born in Stuttgart, Germany, then went to school and worked in London, England, before coming to the United States in the late-80’s. He now lives in Orange County, Southern California with his wife and their blended family of 5 children. One of his favorite sayings (among many!) is “Put your talent in your work but put your genius in your life.” When he isn’t busy with work, he loves playing tennis, working out and enjoying quality time with family and friends, savoring fine food, wine and other gastronomical delights, both at home in the kitchen and at his favorite restaurants.
Regional Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region
Pat Winters has worked in direct sales all of her adult life. Starting as a consultant for a home decorating company based in Philadelphia, Pat learned the business from the ground up, and has built multi- million dollar teams during her time in the field. Pat believes that direct sales is the perfect “job” because it can be anything you want it to be: a steady part time income or a full on business leading to earnings that you never dreamed of. Pat made the switch to the corporate side of this industry in 2002 and since then, has enjoyed working with leaders to help them achieve their goals. Pat is married, has 2 children and 6 grandchildren and lives in New Jersey.
Director of Wine Marketing & Design
Susan Hovey has been working in the field of marketing for over thirteen years and at WineShop At Home for over a decade. She previously worked as a Marketing & Sales Support Administrator in the technology industry. In 2005, Susan happily moved from the technology sector to the fabulous, lifestyle-driven wine industry. At WineShop At Home she manages the company’s wine and consumer marketing materials and creative services; helping to create and produce product collateral, visuals and sales field communications. Susan has been active throughout her life in community and regional theatre in the Bay Area.
Director of Sales Field Development
Shelley is an accomplished direct selling leader with both field and corporate experience. She has a solid track record in building and training sales organizations for rapid, profitable sales growth. Previous to WineShop At Home, Shelley personally recruited over 200 consultants for Mix Party. Prior to that, she was Senior Sales Manager for Dove Chocolate Discoveries. Shelley has also held sales and training leadership positions with such companies as Simply Fun and The Body Shop At Home. She loves social media and all forms of cutting-edge technology and communications as long as it is combined with high touch! Shelley and her husband Joe live in Las Vegas Nevada. Together as a blended family, they have three children: Bella 14, Taylor 16, and Victoria 21. They have three dogs – Dodger, Angel and Knight.
Director of Technology
Alvin has over 10 years of software development experience across many different industries, the majority being within the wine industry. He is experienced in project management, systems administration and developing custom tools to work more efficiently.
Mike Rahill joined WineShop At Home in 2010 after spending 28 years in all areas of warehouse management for direct seller, Discovery Toys. At WineShop At Home, Mike manages the company’s distribution center overseeing such areas as logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory management and materials purchasing. Mike enjoys camping, wakeboarding and, most important to him, spending time with his son and daughter.
