What type of general and personal information we collect:

  • Details of transactions you carry out through our online services and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide credit card information before placing an order or registering for our wine club(s) through our online services.

Text Message Service Terms

WineShop At Home offers its customers mobile alerts and other marketing messages about sales, new products and other topics by SMS/MMS message (the “Service”). To opt-in to the Service, you must first give consent through your WineShop At Home Consultant’s website or by subscribing via an email from WineShop At Home. By participating in the Service, you are agreeing to these Terms and Privacy Policy. Enrollment in the Service requires a phone number and acceptance of the following Terms: You consent to texts being sent to the mobile number provided and understand consent is not a condition of purchase, that message and data rates may apply, and message frequency & content varies. You can reply “STOP” to any text to stop receiving all SMS and MMS or “HELP” for help. You may not enroll in the Service if you are under 21 years old. Before receiving messages, you will need to verify the phone number you provided by responding to a text message that affirms your choice to opt-in to the Service and agreement to these Terms. WineShop At Home reserves the right to stop offering the Service at any time with or without notice.

Text Message Charges and Carriers

Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your service agreement with your wireless carrier or contact your wireless carrier to determine your phone’s pricing plan and the charges for sending and receiving text messages. You acknowledge that you are responsible for any message, data or other charges incurred (usage, subscription, etc.) as a result of using the Service. Most U.S. carriers are supported by the Service. The Service may not be available on all wireless carriers. WineShop At Home may add or remove any wireless carrier from the Service at any time without notice. WineShop At Home and mobile carriers are not responsible for any undue delays, failure of delivery or errors in messages.

To Stop Receiving Text Messages

To stop receiving text messages from WineShop At Home, text the word “STOP” anytime to any of the text messages you have received from WineShop At Home. You acknowledge that the text message platform may not recognize and respond to unsubscribe requests that do not include the STOP keyword command and agree that WineShop At Home and its service providers will have no liability for failing to honor such requests. If you unsubscribe from our text message program, you may continue to receive text messages from WineShop At Home through any other programs you have joined until you separately unsubscribe from those programs. These Terms will still apply if you withdraw the consent mentioned above or opt out of the Service.

Your California Privacy Rights and Accessing or Correcting Your Personal Information

California permits you to make requests to access categories and specific pieces of personal information about you as well as to request we delete your personal information. Note that we can only delete your personal information by also deleting your user account. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions and credit card information will be encrypted using SSL technology.
