Talmage Cellars 2014 California Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine displays mature red fruit like raspberry, plum and black currant. The nose becomes even more fragrant with some brown sugar, cigar box, vanilla and custard aromas. Light, toasted characters appear toward the finish. The mouth provides a prodigious balance with plenty of power in the attack provided by tannins and alcohol content. The wine has a very pleasant medium to long body all the way to the end. This type of wine pairs well with roasted pork chops, meatballs or meatloaf. Enjoy it with the featured recipe: Savory Turkey Sausage and Lentil Soup.
Talmage Cellars 2012 California Merlot
This wine has a dark red color and robust red fruit aromas. A predominance of blackberry and cherry fl avors are followed by plum, pomegranate and acai berry characters. There are lightly toasted notes that begin at the start of the attack in the mouth, providing extra layers of complexity and intensity. This 2012 is mature, lush and fleshy with an excellent tannic structure. The neutral oak ageing stabilizes the aromas and colors. This wine has complex flavors that pair well with meatloaf, pork chops, roasted chicken or roast beef. Try it with the featured recipe: Pappardelle with Tuscan Ragu.
Talmage Cellars 2016 California Chardonnay
This wine provides aromas of yellow flowers, such as daffodil, with ripe pear, Gala Apple and grapefruit notes also present. The attack in the mouth is quite clean and round for a dry wine. This wine was fermented in stainless-steel tanks, which provided great acidity and a balanced overall body. Citrus components such as lemon and lime make this wine very crisp and refreshing. The finish has hints of toasted oak. The compact body of this Chardonnay makes it a great accompaniment for grilled fish, seafood or a cheese platter. Enjoy it with the featured recipe: Baked Lemon Herb Salmon.
Talmage Cellars Semi-Seco Sparkling
