For lovers of ripe, lush red wines with raspberry flavors. Summer is coming, and it’s raspberry season. In the wine lexicon, raspberry is part of the red fruit category — at the tartest end of the spectrum, next to cranberry. It can be a primary aroma in ripe, lush and fruit-forward red wines with medium to high acidity. Our award-winning Fleur Bleu 2016 Carignan has a mix of dark and red fruit aromas where strawberry, cherry, black currant and raspberry are showcased. Our award-winning Nouveau Muse 2017 Rosato is a dry to off-dry Rosé wine offering floral aromas and spicy notes throughout the mouth with flavors of raspberry and strawberry. Our Terroir Cellars 2017 Merlot has expressions of oak flavor but dark red fruit dominates such as cherry, raspberry and black currant.
