Adagio 2020 Yecla, Spain Monastrell

This wine displays dark and red fruits like raspberry, blackberry and strawberry, followed by tobacco and licorice characters. This wine was not influenced by oak, revealing the true aromas of the varietal and its terroir. It has ample tannins in the attack and finish. The wine has nice mouthfeel, medium length and spicy tones in the mid-palate. There is acidity in the finish, which means this wine has both balance and longevity.
