Family Ranch Aged on Bourbon Oak California Red Wine
Our Family Ranch Red Wine was aged on Bourbon oak for three months before bottling and is a blend of 45% Ruby Cabernet, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot and 5% Syrah.
We selected medium-toast French Oak to achieve our desired flavor profile. The nose reveals floral, violet notes, as well as cherry, black currant and caramel. Some notes of Bourbon, toasted oak and honey are also part of this complex nose. This smooth, dry red has a lush attack dominated by red fruit and a round, pleasant mouthfeel. The creamy finish along with the oaky, Bourbon-like flavors make for a perfect ending.
