This Lumière de Vie 2013 California Illumination is a dry red blend comprised of 30% Zinfandel, 20% Merlot, 18% Petite Sirah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 7% Malbec. It has a rich attack. This wine features violet, blueberry, raspberry and licorice with a hint of smokiness in the finish. This blend has a great combination of components that all play a role in the complexity of this wine. With a very round and smooth attack, this blend is very easy to enjoy. There are a fair amount of tannins from the fruit. This medium-bodied wine has quite a bit of length in the finish.

Pair it with grilled pork, chicken or pasta dishes. Enjoy it with the featured recipe: Slow Cooker Ricotta Rosemary Creamed Corn.
