Cookie Cellars Monterey County Red Velvet
Our new Cookie Cellars Red Velvet is a dry red blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon and 44% Merlot from Monterey County.
The nose is delectable and inviting with light fruity notes of blueberry and raspberry. The wine then reveals a rich aromatic world of coffee bean, mocha and toasted oak. This Bordeaux-style blend offers pronounced tannins. It is a blend of 2018, 2017 and 2016 vintages and the older vintages offer notes of chocolate, mocha, caramel and brown sugar due to their age.
