Our Joy Cellars 2017 Jubilant has a rich and deep nose of black currant, strawberry, and blackberry aromas. This wine is a blend of 30% Zinfandel, 24% Petit Verdot, 22% Syrah, 12% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot and 5% Malbec. The second nose reveals aged and toasted characters such as vanilla, oak, tobacco, leather and dark chocolate. There are big, chewy tannins in the attack and a beautiful aromatic profile. All of the varietals in this blend build the structure of the wine, layer upon layer, providing a strong foundation like cinder blocks for a house. This structure provides a very long and bright finish.
