Our Terroir Cellars 2015 l’Ouverture is a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc and is from the French wine region of Bergerac and was aged in French oak barrels, which produced a complex aromatic palate. There is a deep, ripe blackberry flavor in the attack. Later, we have notes of prune and spices like pepper or brown sugar. All of these nuances come from the different toasting applied to the oak barrels. The mouth reveals some tobacco, leather, barbecue sauce, smokiness and balsamic aromas. This wine has an elegant structure and a medium body.
