This Dusk 2018 Roussanne was grown in the Lodi appellation of California. The nose is clean and floral with aromas of acacia and hyacinth. Later, notes of honey, apricot, caramel and walnuts linger in the mid-palate of this dry wine. The attack in the mouth is fluid and easy. Voluptuous and juicy aromas of orange and mandarin then come forward. Its fermentation in a stainless-steel tank emphasizes the minerality of this wine. Unlike most white wines, Roussanne can age very well due to its unusual combination of richness, minerality and balanced acidity.
This low to medium intensity wine will pair well with pasta dishes, seafood, cheeses and light desserts. Try it chilled with the featured recipe: Thai-Style Fish in Coconut-Roasted Ginger Broth.
