Our Halcyon 2017 Colombard has a golden color in the glass. The nose starts with flower notes that quickly become reminiscent of a wonderful summer fruit stand at your farmers market. There is a rich nose of pear, ripe apple, lychee, lemon and pineapple. Still dazzled by the complexity of this fruity nose, the mouth is very gourmand. Unctuous and rich, its round body provides a lot of length.
Pair this low-acidity wine with chicken wings, roasted turkey, grilled prawns or spicy fish cakes. Enjoy it with the featured recipe: Louisiana Shrimp Boil.
