Our Halcyon 2017 Chardonnay was produced in the Lodi region of California. Right at the beginning, the nose showcases citrus like lemon and light oak toast aromas. Later, flower characters like honeysuckle and hyacinth appear along with some toasted bread crumbs. The wine has a smooth attack with a medium intensity and body. After a few seconds, the wine feels more powerful toward the finish, which enhances its citrus flavors. This well-balanced Chardonnay provides good acidity.
