Our Moderna 2014 California Chardonnay offers light aromatics of citrus such as lemon and grapefruit in the attack. The dominant aromas reside around the influence of oak additives. We have light toast, freshly-baked meringue, brown sugar, caramel and vanilla aromatics throughout the middle and the finish. This wine is round and very smooth with a medium attack and body. Good acidity and a touch of citrus and spice provides a strong mouthfeel in the middle with a balanced finish.
