Our new, charming Tatu Estates 2017 California Muscat of Alexandria, displays a large range of fragrances and aromas. For starters, there are several floral notes that are quickly overpowered by a multitude of tropical fruit characters such as lemon, lime, passion fruit, mango, orange and pineapple. Muscats are notorious for bringing layers of tropical fruit flavors during bottle ageing. What a display of color in the glass for this wine! The mouth is dominated by orange and citrus flavors. This wine has a crisp mouthfeel and a hint of acidity in the finish. The sweetness is balanced and does not overwhelm the rest of the finish.
Enjoy and pair this wine with cheeses, savory pastries or creamy desserts such as Key Lime Pie or lemon meringue. Try it with the featured recipe: Grilled Fruit Tart with Spiced Honey Drizzle.
