Our Joy Cellars 2017 Gewürztraminer was produced in the Mendocino region of California and is a blend of 78% Gewürztraminer and 22% White Muscat. This wine has a pale, straw-like yellow color. The nose is seductive with floral and fruit aromas such as hyacinth, passion fruit, pineapple, apricot and apple. These delicious fragrances reappear in the mouth. The attack is powerful for a white wine, with spicy and pepper notes in the mid-palate. This is a dry, almost off-dry, white wine with a mineral finish. The long finish has fruity notes of lemon and green apple with a crisp acidity.
