Our Credia 2018 Riesling (cred-ee-aah reez-ling) has rich aromas of passion fruit, papaya, mango and ripe pineapple. There is a good amount of minerality in the palate consistent with this varietal and the Monterey grape growing region. This white wine is light, sweet and very round. The mouthfeel is dry to off-dry. There is a very enjoyable, crisp mid-palate lingering into the finish. Ageing on the lees (sediment) and stirring in the tank provides a very good balance between alcohol, residual sugar and fruit.
Pair this Riesling with a wide range of dishes like coconut shrimp, scallops or pork tenderloin. Enjoy it with the featured recipe: Springtime Salmon and Pasta Primavera.
