Our Family Ranch Legacy is a red blend of 46% Cabernet Franc, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Barbera, 5% Ruby Cabernet, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Syrah grapes produced from Monterey County and Lodi. This is a robust young wine with six varietals that were fermented separately, then blended together right before bottling. Each varietal brings something unique to the final blend: aromas, structure, power and acidity—all the ingredients needed for a long-lasting experience when opened. First, there is some raspberry, strawberry and cherry in the attack. Then there are powerful wood components in the finish with smoky, toasty characters. The blend has a medium intensity in the attack but very good length in the mouthfeel.
