This is the quintessential summertime cocktail, loaded with fruit and wine, then chilled to refreshing perfection. Simple Summer Sangrias

 

Peachy-Keen Sangria

INGREDIENTS: 

4 cups peaches, sliced

2 cups raspberries

1 bottle of sparkling wine

4 cups dry white wine

1/2 cup peach rum

1 cup peach juice

DIRECTIONS:

Add all ingredients except for the Sparkling Wine, mix well and chill for at least two hours. Stir in the Sparkling Wine just before serving.

Simple Summer Sangrias

 

Classic Sangria

INGREDIENTS: 

1 apple, sliced

1 orange, sliced

2 cups strawberries, sliced

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1 bottle dry red wine

1/2 cup brandy

1 cup pomegranate juice

DIRECTIONS:

Add sugar and water to a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil until sugar is fully dissolved, creating a simple syrup. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients and stir well. Add in your cooled simple syrup and stir. Chill for at least three hours.

 

Simple Summer Sangrias

 

Berry Lime Rosé Sangria

INGREDIENTS: 

2 cups blackberries

2 limes, thinly sliced

1 bottle Rosé wine

1/2 cup white rum

4 cups lemon-lime soda

Ice

DIRECTIONS:

Add limes and blackberries to a large pitcher and pour wine and rum over the fruit. Cover tightly and chill for at least four hours. Just before serving, stir in lemon-lime soda. Add ice cubes to glasses and pour the sangria over. Voila!

 

Simple Summer Sangrias

 

Red, White & Blue Sangria

INGREDIENTS: 

2 cups blueberries

1 cup raspberries

1 cup apple juice

1 cup strawberries, sliced

3-4 Granny Smith apples, cut into star shapes (use a small, metal cookie cutter)

1 bottle dry white wine

1 bottle sparkling wine

Ice

DIRECTIONS:

Stir together all ingredients except sparkling wine, apples and ice. Cover and chill for at least two hours. Stir in the sparkling wine, apples and ice just before serving. Please note, the longer the sangria chills, the more red it will be. Cut and mix in the apples last to keep them white.
