How It Works

Invite your friends, family or anyone you meet to book a Wine Tasting in their home.

Help your Host select their Wine Tasting Sampler & prep for the Tasting.

Talk about the wines using the notes we provide for you and guide guests through the Tasting. Your Host will serve guests 1 oz. pours of each wine.

At the end of the Tasting, show guests how to place orders for the wines they liked directly on your website. We'll ship directly to their doorstep. You never have to carry or keep inventory.

You'll earn a minimum of 20% commission on your sales, and up to 40% depending on your monthly sales volume. Even sweeter, you'll receive a $25 bonus for every $250 in purchases from your new customers in a given month.
Plus, you can earn more on the sales of other Wine Consultants you refer.
We also love to reward your achievements and often hold monthly promotions just for Wine Consultants, giving you the chance to earn prizes, perks, branded swag and even credit towards our annual Wine Consultant trip that we call our "Dream Vacation"!
Nope! No wine expertise or experience is required. We have great wine resources for your Tastings that will guide you through the different wines you are presenting. We also have specific training to give you all the tools you need to help you feel comfortable and confident.
Yes! With a multitude of resources at your fingertips, including your website, social content library and our livestream platform, you can run your business efficiently and successfully from the comfort of home. You can offer Virtual Tastings to Hosts and market wines to friends, family and others through your website.
Nope! There is never any inventory to purchase, carry or keep. All wines and products ship directly to customers from our winery in Napa Valley, making it super simple and cost-effective to run your business.
Our side gig opportunity is designed to work with your life and your schedule. The time you spend is based solely on what you want to get out of it and how much you'd like to earn. Independent Wine Consultants may choose to hold as many Wine Tastings a week as their personal calendars allow, while some do 1-2 a month. You can also guide Virtual Wine Tastings from the comfort of home and broadcast live to your Host's home. Some Wine Consultants focus only on online sales and Wine Club Members. How you want to work is entirely up to you!
Your sponsor will make sure you have the training and help you need to start off right and continue to be successful. You'll also have access to training resources, weekly training calls, training videos, guidance from your peers and help from our dedicated team to support you in your new wine adventure.
Our Wine Consultants don't need a liquor license. As a licensed winery, we accept orders and ship direct to consumers under certain state alcohol beverage laws. We adhere to all state and local wine compliance regulations regarding individual and household volume limitations, winery limits and labeling requirements. All required licenses are held by WineShop At Home with your particular state.
Wine Consultants may join and conduct Tastings in the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii (Hawaii, Honolulu, Kauai and Maui Counties), Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington (Permit No. 402750), Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming
*Arkansas counties are considered to be "wet," "dry" or "mixed." Alcohol shipments are restricted in the yellow areas on this map. Florida has 2 dry counties (unable to ship to Lafayette and Liberty County). FL zip codes to which are non-shippable: 32013, 32066, 32321, 32334, 32335, 32360. We have a fantastic program called Smart Start, which is available to all new Wine Consultants in their first 90 days. If you meet certain volume milestones during this period, you can earn over $500 in WineShop Bucks plus other goodies. Please ask your Wine Consultant for more info.
