David Perry

David came to WineShop At Home with nearly 25 years of experience in wine distribution. He grew up in the Bay Area and moved to the Napa Valley right after graduating high school. After a few years in college he began his career at Western Wine Services in American Canyon, his first six months in the “wine business” were spent unloading cases of wine by hand, 10 hours a day, six days a week; it wasn’t exactly glamorous. He decided right away he better move up quickly and shortly was promoted to Inventory Manager, leading several warehouse moves and managing expansion from two facilities to five. Since then, he has been an expert in inventory and distribution management for The Hess Collection Winery, Winetasting.com, Vinlux, and before coming to WineShop At Home, he was the Distribution Manager for Wine Warehouse. David enjoys spending his downtime surfing, skiing and camping with his family. He and his wife Monica live in Napa with their two children, Anacristina and Nathaniel; a dog, Rosie; and two cats, Skye and Mini.
