Sam began her career in high tech but fell in love with the world of wine when she moved to the Napa Valley. Over the past 20 years, she led direct sales, marketing and distribution for the Francis Coppola wineries and then partnered with her husband Scott to operate their own wine brand, Solid Wine Cellars. At WineShop At Home, Sam partners with Alex as a member of the wine team, planning and managing our wine portfolio. A graduate of University of California at Berkeley Haas School of Business, Sam brings her analytical and strategic planning skills to WineShop. Most recently, Sam and her family relocated to the Seattle area for Scott’s job at a Washington winery. When she’s not tasting great wines from across the globe, Sam enjoys travel with her family, exploring the area around her new home, exercising, hiking and reading. She lives with her husband, kids Wil and Charlyse and her handsome-devil Husky named Yukon. One day she hopes to write a book about the tales of Yukon!
