Ingredients
- 2 Bottles of red wine
- 4 Cup(s) Apple cider
- 1 Cup(s) Apple vodka
- 1 Cup(s) Brandy
- 4 Honeycrisp apples, sliced thinly
- 4 Figs, cut into small chunks
- 3 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 Star anise
- Honey or your favorite sweetener, to taste
- Brown sugar or rimming sugar (optional)
Directions
In a large pitcher, combine apples, figs, cinnamon, star anise, red wine, cider, apple vodka, brandy and sweetener (to taste). Stir well and chill for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally. Pour over ice. Optional garnishes: cinnamon sticks, rosemary sprigs or rimming sugar.
